Very sadly Eddy died peacefully on 5th April 2004 after a long illness. He is survived by his daughter Claire, who continues her involvement with Celesta Players. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and members of our dramatic society. Eddy was elected President in 1989, having successfully been Chairman of the society since 1975. He has appeared consistently in at least one production in every single year, his last appearance being in the summer review 2002.

Paul joined the society over twelve years ago and as well as appearing on stage (his debut was in 'Tomb with a View'), he has made a significant contribution behind the scenes. Paul was elected as our chairman in 1998. His strong committment to the society has been a great help during, what has proved to be, a period of change.

Rosemary has been a member of the Society for 18 years. She has written and directed eight pantomimes [one of which was an original called The Magic Chocolate Tree], and directed plays, one being for Celesta Youth, which She runs, together with Kath. She thoroughly enjoys Her time in Celestas and finds it stimulating and exciting, inluding acting, directing, writing, as well as socially.
