A light comedy about the plight of the Briggs family, who having fallen on hard times, resort to breaking into a disused Methodist church in their search for a refuge. Here they are discovered by the ministers mother and his fiance who decide to fetch the minister. On meeting this unorthodox family group, the minister decides to try their way of life for himself. His attempts to solve the Briggs' problems have unexpected and hilarious results.
All in all, a highly entertaining comedy, rich with Comic Pathos.
