Respecting your piers
Produced by Celesta Players

Five women inherit equal shares in a dilapidated pleasure pier and are forced to settle their differences in order to get the pier operational again. This is a character driven comedy, with moments of high farce, that also manages to be gentle and touching, revealing a telling message about the need to preserve seaside landmarks.

The Haunted Through Lounge and Recessed Dining Nook at Farndale Castle
Produced by Celesta Players

by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Jnr

A classic comedy

The ladies of the Farndale Avenue Townswomens Guild Dramatic Society make yet another spectacle of themselves, complete with a harassed producer and some rather vigorous sound effects

The company is led by Thelma, who plays the female lead, with spirited support from the indomitable Mrs Reece, playing the sinister Lady Madge Graves, the unfortunate Felicity, playing Crematia, badly, and two new recruits to the group: the fraught Jasmine, playing various roles whilst trying to nurse her baby backstage, and Austrian Lottie, playing Marty, who has a little trouble getting her tongue around some of the more idiomatic English phrases!

This is a sinister, spine-chilling mystery of murder and farcical mayhem that is guaranteed to bring the house down - or at least a substantial part of the set!
